What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Liaison position at Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc.?

Job Details: SUMMARY: This position is responsible for assisting new and existing Team Members in becoming familiar with Tyson and accessing community services housing schools medical services social services etc. as needed. Responsibilities include: act as mediator when required with these agencies; provide interpreter and translator services as needed; act as liaison between community and the facility and represent the company in a positive manner with community leaders; assist in Human Resources duties as required by HR Manager. We will ask that the community liaison: Act as mediator when required. Act as liaison in the community working with local schools and other area resources to easy team members transitions to our community. Develop and create community events for all Team Members to include: Annual fair to make team members aware of community resources. Work with community experts and Chaplain to provide educational classes such as: financial education classes childcare and life skills. Organizing on or off-site ESL Class. Work with new applicants to complete the application and onboarding process. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in HR or Public Relations preferred - Associates degree required. Experience: 2 plus years' experience with Tyson's public relations or social service experience preferred. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have excellent interpreter and translator skills English Marshallese . Supervisory: May be required to manage office staff and assist HR Manager.
