Elementary School Teacher Assistant-Full Time/Part Time

Tzu Chi Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to support our classroom teachers in delivering a high-quality education experience for our students. The Teacher's Aide will assist in various instructional and non-instructional tasks, help maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, and uphold the values and mission of the Tzu Chi Foundation. Job Summary: Classroom Support: Assist the homeroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students as directed by the teacher. Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe and orderly environment. Prepare instructional materials and classroom displays. Student Assistance: Support students with their academic, social, and emotional needs. Assist with classroom management, including monitoring student behavior and helping to enforce school policies. Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-classroom activities. Administrative Duties: Perform clerical tasks such as grading assignments, maintaining student records, and organizing classroom supplies, among others. Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities and training sessions as required. Engage in reflective practice and continuous improvement to enhance teaching skills and student support. Degree: Associate's degree or higher in education or a related field (required).
