Job Responsibilities:
As a U-Box Customer Care Driver, you will be responsible for delivering U-Box containers to customers in a safe and timely manner. This will involve operating a flatbed truck and loading and unloading containers at various locations. You will also be responsible for participating in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this role.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a clean motor vehicle driving record, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Department of Transportation certification. You will also need to have a commercial driver's license (CDL).
Work Environment:
This role involves moderate risks or discomforts, such as working around moving parts, machines, fumes, or chemicals. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields. The work requires some physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, and lifting. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
