Collaborative Environment : This is an on-site position in Pleasant Prairie, WI or Waukegan, IL, and we are searching for candidates who are ready to contribute to our success.
Position Responsibilities :
Develop, test, and deploy powerful Java applications that meet business needs using cutting-edge technologies and strict coding standards.
Perform code reviews, enhance application performance, and maintain high-quality standards to ensure application responsiveness.
Participate in architectural design reviews and project planning, providing valuable insights for strategic enhancements.
Mentor and guide junior developers, exemplifying leadership in cross-functional development initiatives.
Work closely with the development team to maintain consistent processes and meet project deadlines.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, along with equivalent programming experience.
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, particularly with enterprise solutions using the Spring framework.
Extensive knowledge of REST web services, microservices, Git, JPA, SQL, JSON, SOAP, XML, and code versioning tools.
Familiarity with caching, service discovery, CI / CD tools, and Agile methodologies is preferred.
