What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Office Assistant position at U-Lock-It Self Storage?
U-Lock-It Self Storage is looking for an organized, friendly, and courteous individual to fill our Office Assistant position. We need someone who can provide a high level of customer service, has experience using computers and is able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. Your daily duties will include answering phone calls, taking payments, renting units and light cleaning around the office as needed.
This is an ideal position for someone who is retired or looking for part-time work. Expect to work every Wednesday and every other Saturday for an average of 18 hours biweekly with the availability to work extra hours if time off for the manager is needed.
Required Qualifications
- Effective multi-tasking and time management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fast learner (required to learn and practice all proper protocol/policies outlined for self-storage businesses)
- In-office position, reliable transportation required
- Patience and courtesy when speaking to customers (new and current)
- Prior office experience preferred
