Key Responsibilities :

- Resource Coordination : Organize and manage engineering resources to meet production demands, including quoting, process development, and technical troubleshooting.
- Process Optimization : Maximize production efficiency through the development and implementation of optimized processes, focusing on continuous improvement and effective resource utilization.
- Project Management : Oversee and manage engineering schedules, meeting lead times for quotes, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Performance Tracking : Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to continually assess and improve team and departmental performance.
- Compliance and Safety : Ensure adherence to regulations, specifications, and quality standards, fostering a safe and compliant work environment.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives : Lead and contribute to standardization, cost reduction, and workflow efficiency projects within engineering and production.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and align on profitability goals, nurturing strong internal and external relationships.
- Customer and Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, community partners, and stakeholders to support collaboration and advance business objectives.
Requirements
What You'll Bring :
o Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) or equivalent work experience.
o 7 years of experience in Manufacturing or Engineering, ideally in Precision Machining within Medical or Aerospace Industries.
o 3 years managing engineering staff, technical resources, and projects.
o 5 years of experience with Quality Management Systems,
o Experience working with ERP systems.
o Working knowledge of regulatory standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100, RoHS, REACH, and ITAR.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and collaborative approach.
o Advanced problem-solving skills and technical expertise in materials and process technologies.
o Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with strong business and financial insight.
o Skilled in risk-taking and independent decision-making.
o Proven people management skills, with the ability to inspire and adapt to change.
o Competence in prioritizing tasks and delegating effectively.
