What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Imaging Radiologist with UofL Physicians position at U of L Physicians?
UofL Physicians is seeking a full-time, BC / BE, fellowship-trained radiologist. A fellowship in body or abdominal imaging is required.
ABOUT THE POSITION
- Responsibilities for the Body Imaging division include interpretation of Fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, and Ultrasound.
- This section covers a busy workload of inpatient and outpatient cross-sectional imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis as well as a portion of the CTA examinations of the extremities.
- CT imaging is heavily concentrated in oncology workup / follow-up in addition to significant caseloads in postsurgical / trauma patients. MR of the abdomen includes liver, pancreas and renal imaging and MR of the pelvis includes evaluation of GI, GYN, and GU malignancies including prostate MRI.
- In addition to staffing UofL Hospital and its attached outpatient imaging center, staff will cover imaging services at all of the hospitals in the UofL system where the sub-specialty group is again responsible for Body CT, MR and US. Reading of images onsite is preferred.
