Overview:
The Program Management and Customer Success team at U Power is dedicated to delivering unparalleled after-sales support, tailored solutions, and proactive engagement to ensure customer satisfaction and drive continuous improvement.
U Power is looking for an Electric Vehicle Technician to join our team in Sunnyvale, CA, to elevate our customer service standards and effectively address vehicle-related issues.
As an Electric Vehicle Technician you will;
- Diagnose and repair electric vehicles, including complex installations and inspections
- Travel to customer sites, including Latin America, to service U Power’s electric vans
- Follow repair procedures efficiently while ensuring safety and quality
- Perform road tests to verify repair quality
- Provide training to customers and fleet technicians, ensuring they are up to date with the latest information and repair techniques
- Collaborate with engineering to develop solutions that reduce future issues
- Work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage parts operations, including ordering, shipping, and inventory management
- Stay updated on technical skills and required training
- Keep accurate records for expenses and work orders
- Contribute positively in a dynamic, changing environment
This is an onsite position located in Sunnyvale, CA.
Applicants must be willing to travel at least 30%, including international trips, primarily to Latin America and Asia.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both English and Spanish required
- High School diploma or above
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Experience with electric vehicle repairs and high-voltage diagnostics preferred
- Expertise in analyzing vehicle data logs and diagnosing subsystems.
- Ability to work independently and maintain repair quality.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience managing parts logistics and billing processes.
- Startup or fast-paced environment experience is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Capable of performing physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, kneeling, and using tools.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $50,000 - $100,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and experience. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
