Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transaction Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by managing documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional support to clients and agents throughout the process. This position requires a strong understanding of Fair Housing regulations, loan processing, and mortgage servicing.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the transaction process from contract to closing.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws.
- Coordinate with loan officers, escrow agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
- Prepare and review necessary documents including contracts, disclosures, and closing statements.
- Maintain accurate records and files for each transaction.
- Communicate effectively with clients, agents, and lenders to provide updates and resolve any issues.
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Stay informed about industry standards including FNMA guidelines and TILA requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role within financial services or real estate is preferred.
- Familiarity with loan processing and mortgage servicing is highly desirable.
- Understanding of escrow processes and related documentation is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with clients and team members.
