What are the responsibilities and job description for the Equipment Yard Associate/ Party Tech position at U-Rent It?
Job Duties:
· Explain proper operation and safety features of equipment to the customer
· Assist in loading and unloading of equipment and party supplies
· Cleaning and power washing equipment, and party supplies
· Keep the yard clean and free of trash
· Analyze the condition of the equipment for safety and operational purposes.
· Keep new decals on all equipment, replace all old and faded decals.
· Perform general maintenance of equipment in the yard.
· Perform lawn care of the lot
· Perform other duties as requested
· Uphold Company safety standards and ensure appropriate procedures are followed
· Delivery of all party equipment, including setting up tents, staging, dancefloors
Working Conditions:
· Most work will be performed outside regardless of the elements
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Requirements:
· A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not required
· Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs
· Attention to detail
· Customer service aptitude
Rental industry experience is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
