THE OVERVIEW
The Association & Foundation, in support of the Academy (?Academy?), seeks a positive, energetic and detail-oriented professional to serve as the Membership Engagement Specialist (?Specialist?). This position will reside within the Alumni Relations Division.
POSITION RESPONSIBLITIES
- Understand, uphold, and promote the ethical standards and core values of the United States Air Force Academy (?USAFA?) and the Association & Foundation
- Learn and understand how the Association & Foundation interact with the Academy and other Academy-related nonprofit organizations that support various areas of the Academy
- Provide excellent membership support including membership acquisition, assistance, and retention efforts in a timely, responsive manner reporting to the Membership Engagement Manager
- Serve as the main point of contact for membership and membership benefit questions via telephone or email; route escalated questions as appropriate
- Update membership information as appropriate; proactively seek membership for graduates under ?Membership for All Graduates? program
- Support membership event planning and logistics as directed by the Membership Engagement Manager
- Stay informed of membership benefits; provide accurate and timely information for inquiries
- Update Association of Graduates (?AOG?) Parent & Family App events and key information
- Maintain national parent product clearinghouse to assist parent clubs
- Support AOG Parent Ambassador program, ensuring graduate parent continuity and engagement with the Association
- Coordinate and support AOG-provided Weebly websites for USAFA parent clubs; provide limited technical support for current Weebly websites for active AOG chapters and affinity groups Coordinate with Weebly/SquareSpace technical and admin support personnel as required
- Support the annual Graduate Dependent Scholarship Program
- Manage AOG Zoomie Delivery Service
- Support a strong alumni travel program collaborating with other service academies
- Collaborate closely with alumni relations teammates
- Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- A bachelor?s degree is preferred
- First-hand knowledge or connection to the Air Force Academy is preferred
- Working knowledge in hybrid video conferencing systems such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Working knowledge of alumni engagement and relations in a higher education setting
- Working knowledge with Raiser?s Edge or similar CRM database
- Working knowledge Microsoft Office 365 program suite
- A valid driver?s license and any related insurances
- Be able to pass a DBIDS Background check, which is required in order to maintain access to the Association of Graduates principal offices on the Academy
- This position will require the ability to work some evenings and weekends
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The hourly range for this position is $23.08-$24.04 ($48,000.00 - $50,000.00 annual estimate). The Association & Foundation offer a competitive benefits package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, retirement, and paid time off for all full-time employees.
