Eligibility Criteria

  • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. institution
  • Foreign medical graduates may apply if they possess a permanent certificate from the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates
  • Current medical license valid in the U.S., District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
  • Eligibility for board certification
  • Completion of at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
  • Completion of a preventive medicine training program
  • U.S. citizenship required for Active Duty service
  • Permanent U.S. residency required for Army Reserve
