Job Overview:
The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) serves as the civil engineering firm to the U.S. Government, with no requirement to enlist in military service. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. Duties:
- Using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, etc) create visually appealing graphics for various platforms including digital and print media, and animations. Some products will include diagrams, branding, publications, illustrations, infographics and 3D models.
- Illustrate or design custom to enhance existing graphic resources.
- Convey messages and understanding to stakeholders through developed graphics, photos, 3-D modeling, animations, and some video.
- Serve as backup for digital photography or videography services for events.
- Edit videos and participate in pre-production and post-production.
- Create digital three-dimensional models and animations.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least a bachelor's degree in animation, film, graphic design, multimedia, fine arts, or similar role. Masters degree preferred.
- Must have at least 3 years of experience creating custom illustrations, graphics, and 3D models. Ideally will have performed videography work and pre- and post-production.
This job does not require enlistment and is a civilian role. The selected candidate will work in Geneva, NY for 2 – 3 years with an opportunity to return to the Buffalo, NY office after the build or work remotely afterward.

GS-11 Range: $75,764 - $98,491
