The US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center serves to research, develop, and evaluate trusted technologies in the command, control, communications, computers, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C5ISR) technical domains in order to transition operationally relevant solutions to the Army through employment of a dedicated and superior workforce, world class facilities and global partnerships. We are seeking 2 Software Engineer / Scientist with experience in defining and integrating real time control systems.
Responsibilities :
- The C5ISR Center is soliciting candidates to serve as a software engineer in the Avionic and Force Protection Software Support Division, Force Protection and Countermeasure Systems Branch.
- Engineer will provide embedded technical support to Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare and Sensors (PEO IEWS) Project Management Office Electronic Warfare and Cyber (PM EWC).
- Support acquisition and fielding of integrated Intelligence, Electronic and Cyber Warfare capabilities to enable Spectrum and Cyberspace Superiority.
- Interface with users and Army Capability Managers (ACM) to perform requirements formulation, decomposition, and traceability.
- Lead, develop, and synchronize technical input to the acquisition process including Software Engineering Plans (SEP), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and Technical Evaluations (TECHEVAL).
- Lead, develop, and synchronize technical input to the acquisition process including Concepts of Operations (CONOP), Software Performance Specifications and Project Proposals.
- Lead programmatic activities through the Integrated Product Team (IPT) framework including stakeholder management, risk management, and Technical Interchange / Exchange Meetings (TIM / TEM).
- Lead programmatic activities through the Integrated Product Team (IPT) framework including distributed collaboration, staffing, software configuration management and software design reviews.
- Coordinate and negotiate design and engineering activities with other related programs and organizations.
- Prepares program documentation in support of the software engineering efforts.
