About the Position : This position is with the Joint Munitions Command located at Anniston, Alabama. This position serves as Supply Technician applying supply management principles and analyzing and evaluating the inventory management systems. Responsibilities Operate a variety office automation equipment to store and produce documents for organization. Prepare reports of findings for inventory discrepancies. Perform a variety of supply support functions for the ammunition inventory management system. Provide technical assistance relating to inventory management procedures. Research historical data to improve inventory management functions for the organization. Perform detailed analysis of all depot transaction records. Develop recommendations that will improve the quality of work in inventory transactions. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas : Inventory Management Supply Planning Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement : Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06). Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial / probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
