Duties- Under the lead of a full performance specialist, performs highly structured, entry-level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skills needed to perform higher-level assignments.
- Assignments include, delivery of Information Technology customer support services, including system hardware/software installations, configuration, troubleshooting, customer assistance, and/or training, in response to customer requirements.
- Uses established industry practices, procedures or policies to determine the most appropriate approach to problem resolution.
- Applies information security/information assurance policy, principles and practices.
Conditions of Employment- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.

#1: Bachelor's Degree
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree WITH a major study (minimum of twenty-four (24) semester hours) in any of the following:- computer science, or
- engineering, or
- information science, or
- information systems management, or
- mathematics, or
- operations research, or
- statistics, or
- technology management
#2: IT Certification
Must Have Intensive Training That Provided You An IT Certification And Also Provided You With The Demonstrated Knowledge And Skills In Applying The Following:- Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; AND
- communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing; AND
- gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions; AND
- data storage, software applications and networking.
#3: Work Experience
Possess At Least One (1) Year Of Full-time Experience Performing Duties That Have Provided You With The Following Knowledge And Skills:- Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; AND
- communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing; AND
- gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions; AND
- data storage, software applications and networking.
#4: Combination of Education and Experience
Possess a combination* Of The Above Listed Experience, Education And Intensive Training That Provided You With The Following Knowledge And Skills:- Performing highly structured, entry level work designed to develop broader and more in-depth knowledge and skill needed to perform higher level assignments; AND
- communicating factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing; AND
- gathering and analyzing basic facts and drawing conclusions; AND
- data storage, software applications and networking.
- 3 months of the experience doing the specified knowledge and skills PLUS 3 years of education (90 semester hours completed) that included 24 semester hours in the fields identified above, OR
- 6 months of the experience doing the specified knowledge and skills PLUS 2 years of education (60 semester hours completed) that included 24 semester hours in the fields identified above, OR
- 9 months of the experience doing the specified knowledge and skills PLUS 1 year of education (30 semester hours completed) that included 24 semester hours in the fields identified above.

- Night differential has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for Bargaining NF & CY positions and will be paid at the rate of basic pay plus an additional 10 percent of that rate for all regular scheduled work between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (including periods of leave and holidays).
- Sunday premium pay has been authorized by the Collective Bargaining Agreement for regular NF & CY bargaining employees and will be paid at the rate of 25% of the employee's basic rate of pay for all hours of a non-overtime tour of duty when any part of the scheduled tour is performed on Sunday (including periods of leave and holidays).
- Incentives will NOT be paid.
