Summary About the Position : Serves as a Team Leader Management Analyst. Directs the activities of Management Analysts with responsibility for coordinating and executing the TRADOC Mission Manpower / Equipment and TDA management programs and providing technical and management advice to Armor and Infantry School commanders and staff officers, and / or Fort Moore MCoE Mission Program Directors and activities in the areas of Manpower. Responsibilities Interpret directives from higher headquarters concerning manpower management and documentation, as necessary. Conduct meetings with activities to determine the manpower resources and skill types required to implement future operation and mobilization plans. Develop long-range manpower projections as required. Recommend feasible solutions or courses of action. Administers and coordinates internal scheduling of projects with other elements. Articulate and communicate to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and / or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : One year of specialized experience which includes : 1) Studies current and future missions, requirements, manpower staffing and equipment standards, effects on manpower and equipment, supervisory ratios, etc. recommends approval, disapproval, or amendment of proposed reorganizations to the Force Development Officer and MCoE Commanders / Directors and prepares subsequent implementing directives as required; 2) Negotiate changes deemed necessary with higher commands. Recommends feasible solutions or courses of action; 3) Administers and coordinates internal scheduling of projects with other elements; AND 4) Serves as Team Leader ensuring the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies, goals, objectives, work plans and work products and services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade / level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas : Ability to Instruct Managing Diverse Workforce Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement : Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????11). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial / probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a(n) Manpower and Force Management- 26 Career Field position. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
