Summary About the Position : This position located at Fort Eustis, VA. Fort Eustis, VA is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. Responsibilities Conduct staff studies for decisions supporting Initial Military Training goals and requirements. Establish working relationships to understand current and future issues impacting current and long-term operations. Present executive summaries to senior staff members and leaders for decision-marking purpose. Conduct mission analysis to determine CIMT tasks for dissemination across the command and TRADOC to meet mission. Present CIMT briefings to TRADOC and subordinate elements. Specialized Experience : One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Utilize a systemic process to develop orders and plans developing courses of actions such as the Military Decision-making Process (MDMP); 2) Analyze programs to ensure projects objectives are being met; 3) Apply analytical techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the tasking and operations orders supporting organizational missions and requirements; and 4) Review organizational policies to ensure the related material is accurate. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade / level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas : Flexibility Influencing / Negotiating Oral Communication Problem Solving Writing Time in Grade Requirement : Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
