Title 10 Faculty Member (Bilingual)

About the Position: Located at the Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation Fort Moore, GA 31905. In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Master Degree Requirement:

All applicants must possess a Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts to your application.

In addition to meeting the Master's Degree requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:

Military Education Requirement:

This position requires the incumbent to be a graduate of an Intermediate Level Education (ILE) graduate, or Command and General Staff Officer Course, or its equivalent.

AND

This position requires the incumbent to be a Joint Professional Military Education Phase II (JPME-II) qualified/graduate of the Joint Warfighter Course or/and Joint experience.

NOTE: Military Education: You must submit copies of your transcripts, certificate of completion, DD214 Member Copy 4 showing the course under the education portion or other documentation for the above course.

AND

Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience in 1) teaching, training, or mentoring an adult education/program at the Federal or State level; 2) developing and revising course material; 3) preparing and reviewing course syllabi, lesson plans for curriculum.

Selective Placement Factor: This position requires fluency in the Spanish language.

• Knowledge of Army Curriculum Development (A.D.D.I.E.)

This position can be filled at one of the following academic ranks:

• Instructor
• Assistant Professor
• Associate Professor
• Professor

Academic rank and salary will be determined based on the selectee's education and experience.

If you are currently serving on active duty: You MUST submit a certification from the armed forces that certifies the service member is expected to be discharged or released from active-duty service in the armed forces under honorable conditions not more than 120 days after the date the certification is submitted for consideration in the hiring process. The certification MUST show the characterization of your discharge (Honorable, General, etc.).
