About the Position : Serves as the Visual Information Specialist on Army University Press's Line of Departure team. Primary duties include preparing page layouts, producing, or procuring and manipulating art and photos to support text, and supporting the team's website.
Responsibilities
As a Visual Information Specialist, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list :
- Produces electronic page layouts, using Adobe InDesign to meet computerized publishing requirements.
- Ensure that an identifiable, attractive, and uniform export with minimal accessibility concerns.
- Coordinates with staff and team chief to prepare effective presentations, including ensuring the correct placement of text and illustrations.
- Prepares the page layouts for editing by staff as part of collaborative electronic editing workflow.
- Determines percentages of screens, colors, and tints to be used on the pages of the site.
