Additional information
- Serves as a Readiness Technical Expert.
- Assists Chief in the development/presentation of Monthly Readiness Review (MRR) briefings through V-Corps ODCS, G3 to V-Corps Command Group.
- Assist Joint Monthly Readiness Review (JMRR) briefings and reports through V-Corps, ODCS, G3 and USAREUR-AF Command Group to the Commander, U.S. European Command (EUCOM).
- Assist with Quarterly Readiness Review (QRR) briefing through V-Corps ODCS, G3 to V-Corps Command Group and Subordinate Command Commander.
Conditions of Employment
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 (NCS/SECRET) background investigation.
- Must be able to work extended and/or other than normal duty hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime to the extent determined by the supervisor.
- Must be able perform a Temporary Change of Station (TCS) for not less than 6 months, but no more than 30 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Forces Certificate of License.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a government driver’s license to operate non-tactical vehicle/transportation motor pool (NTV/TMP) vehicles such as a sedan or small passenger van.
- Must be able to work under austere living conditions, as well as share accommodation under field conditions (containers, tents and/or barracks).
- Must be able to perform business related travel up to 60% of the time.
- Must be able to receive inoculations IAW DoD requirements for travel to specific countries.
- Must be able to travel using military transportation or non-commercial means of travel.
- This position is designated Mission Essential.
- IAW DoD Policy, must be able to obtain and maintain a no-fee Special Issuance Passport (SIP) and associated visa while assigned to a Federal civilian position in an area requiring a passport and associated visa.

- Position may be made permanent without further competition.
- Time-limited reassignments and changes to lower grade may exceed five years, however return rights may be impacted.
