Combat Medic Specialist Job Description
This role requires an enlistment in the U.S. Army or Army Reserve.
You'll administer emergency medical care in the field, serving as a first responder and triaging illnesses and injuries to save lives. Your training will be similar to that of a paramedic in the civilian world.
In this position, you'll train other Soldiers in lifesaver/first responder courses and provide care on base while not deployed.

Job Duties:
- Administering emergency medical treatment to battlefield casualties
- Providing outpatient and inpatient care and treatment
- Instructing Soldier's on Combat Lifesaver/First Responder training course
- Managing Soldier's medical readiness, medical supplies, and equipment
Requirements:
- 10 weeks of Basic Training
- 16 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
- U.S. Citizenship
- 17 to 34 Years Old
- High School Diploma or GED
- Meeting Tattoo Guidelines
- No Major Law Violations
- No Medical Concerns
