We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services, including examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of various ocular conditions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing patient vision and overall eye health while ensuring a positive experience for each patient.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and diagnose ocular conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients on proper eye care practices and the use of prescribed eyewear.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry and incorporate best practices into patient care.
- Perform necessary tests, including measuring visual acuity, assessing eye movement, and checking for signs of diseases.
- Provide pediatric eye care services as needed, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients.
