Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled Database Developer with database design and modeling experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Designs, models, develops, implements, and maintains databases. Develops logical and physical database models. Writes scripts and commands for data manipulation. Plans and conducts database unit and system tests; monitors results and takes corrective action. Monitors and resolves issues regarding database performance, database capacity, data integrity, and replication. Translates business user information requirements into system requirements, object designs, and applications. Codes, tests, and implements programs and scripts to build and maintain databases. Responds to inquiries from Business Intelligence professionals concerning database structure usage.

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• At least 3 years' experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data.

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Experience with Azure - connecting Power BI, and building databases

- Experience with SQL - building out data mart, and cloud migration

- Database development- relationship database modeling

• Strong communication with internal partners to gather needs and requirements

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $86,360.00 - $101,600.00 - $111,760.00
