Job Description

We're seeking a talented Experience Designer to join our Become a Customer team. You'll shape the interfaces and experiences our customers use in our award-winning products. Your role will involve design discovery and analysis to gain an in-depth understanding of customer needs, behaviors, and preferences. User-Centered Design Thinking: The ability to empathize with users, understand their needs, behaviors, and pain points, and create tailored experiences. Key aspects:

  • User research and design discovery

  • Journey mapping and problem framing

  • Prototyping and iterating 

Interaction Design: The skill to design user flows, wireframes, concept models that support user goals. Key aspects:

  • Mastery of design principles and standards

  • Proficiency in Figma

  • Designing responsive, accessible, and inclusive interfaces

Collaboration and Communication: The ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, stakeholders) and advocate for user experience. Key aspects:

  • Clear articulation of design decisions

  • Storytelling through presentations and documentation

  • Adaptability to feedback and ability to influence

Experience Designers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in developing human-centered experiences that provide personalized, clear, helpful, and inclusive digital plus human solutions for our customers. Experience designers consider the why, what, and how of product use to help identify where user needs intersect with business goals across the entire user journey. This is an individual contributor role, responsible for low to medium complexity product feature (s) with unique expertise/skills.

- Proficient product management, product and experience design or similar experience

Location:

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00 - $154,990.00
