Job Description
U.S. Bank is looking for a responsible, hard-working Risk Management professional skilled in SAS/SQL and strategy analysis to manage Research and Analytics for the Small Business credit card Risk Strategy team.
Position Highlights
Lead the Strategy Research and Analytics function for the Small Business Credit Card portfolio. Analyze large amount of historical data to identify risks and opportunities in the various risk strategies, such as underwriting, credit line increase and decrease strategies, as well as other portfolio management areaCreate presentations and reports to communicate finding and opportunities to Risk partners and senior management
Work with various departments to identify data sources that will assist with small business credit card new account and life cycle management analysis
Query large datasets using SAS EG or SQL Plus, performing segmentation and decision tree analysis
Identify patterns through large credit card financial data
Work as a liaison between Marketing, Risk, Data Warehouse teams to keep data organized. Become a data expert for the Small Business team and builds reports, data inventory, and analysis that help with making data-driven decisions
Create and automate timely and accurate tracking and reports for senior management
Summarize finding from the reports to deliver clear messages about strategy improvement opportunities
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experienceFive to seven years of related experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in computer science, business, analytics, statistics, data science or equivalent work experienceFive plus years of relevant experience in credit card risk management functions
In-depth understanding of the Risk Management function in credit card risk management
Strong analytical skills
Expertise with SAS, SAS EG or SQL plus to pull large amount of data and do data analysis
Strong process facilitation, project management, analytical, and presentation skills
Hands on experience with querying ACAPS, Financial, and Master table data preferred
Experience working with small business credit card portfolio preferred
Hybrid/flexible schedule
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00 - $136,400.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
