Job Description
Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our human plus digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs. Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions). Aligns this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.
The Vice President Product, Technology Modernization will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of U.S. Bank’s Commercial Card platform modernization. This initiative will be a highly complex, multi-year project requiring engagement across all areas of the Commercial Card business. The successful candidate will engage with key stakeholders to define, document, and gain consensus on priorities, while ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Define, document and gain consensus on the modernization plan and timeline.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders to define and execute a detailed modernization and migration plan that identifies workstreams, requirements, milestones and dependencies.
Engage with 3rd party processor to ensure project alignment, execution of deliverables and timely issue resolution.
Manage consulting engagements from concept to requirements, RFP, vendor selection and successful execution.
Define internal and external communication and training requirements and work with appropriate stakeholders to execute.
Monitor budget to identify risks and opportunities.
Identify, execute and manage risk requirements.
Work with product owners to identify and execute new product capabilities that provide competitive differentiation.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Tech fluent, forward-thinking, and innovative.
Understands the key technical objectives and strategy of technology modernization.
Has technical know-how and understands technical architecture.
Solid understanding of Commercial Card products (T&E, Purchasing, Virtual Card, etc)
Thorough knowledge of Total Systems TS1 and TS2 platforms.
Experience with large client portfolio technology modernization and migration.
Track record and demonstrated success leading very large, complex technology initiatives.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to explain complex information and gain consensus.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $123,165.00 - $144,900.00 - $159,390.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
