Job Description
Validates, tests, and documents usage of complex statistical models by reviewing & evaluating a model’s conceptual soundness, performance, implementation, and ongoing monitoring. The models may cover a variety of products or services; however, all models are used as part of the financial decision-making process. Specific results focus on documenting the validation and testing of advanced statistical models and communicating results to stakeholders within the Bank. Deliverables include the creation of model validation documentation such as : formal write-up of results / recommendations / conclusions within the validation report, presentations to model stakeholders and management, other written reports (ad hoc), model code / documentation, monitoring reports and related code, and procedures.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, and five or more years of relevant experience
- MA / MS in a quantitative field, and three or more years of related experience
- PhD in a quantitative field, and less than two years of related experience
Preferred Skills / Experience
NOTE : This role offers a hybrid / flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range : $105,400.00 - $124,000.00 - $136,400.00
