Job Description
Product Managers at U.S. Bank are customer obsessed in driving product planning, visioning, development, management, and customer experience to deliver on our human plus digital product strategy and staying one step ahead of evolving economic, technological, and customer needs. Pulls from market and competitive insights, customer needs, and internal business priorities to create the product vision (target customer segments, markets, channels, go to market approach, and value propositions). Aligns this strategic vision with cross-functional stakeholders to shape product roadmap, investment areas and success measures.
In their role as a Product Manager, this individual will be responsible for direct ownership of an offshore business line led team to deliver on priority work within their core team. This includes caring for the following :
- Serve as the strategic liaison between the Journey & Offshore Delivery (BL Engineering) teams and the Digital organization, Product teams, Growth Studio and other product teams across the Consumer Segment.
- Facilitate connection between business line and stakeholder teams, both within and outside of the cure offshore team.
- Coordinate roadmaps and backlog for their team.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the different customer-facing employee groups and sales leadership priorities.
- Define success for launch readiness for new features and engages with enabling functions (e.g. – marketing, go-to-market, change management, branch, phone and digital enablement).
- Ensures alignment to business objectives, manages prioritization of reporting needs, and provides regular updates on progress against goals.
- Engages in Capital Investment preparation on behalf of their team.
- Resource management : Ensures alignment of the work to the capacity of the teams and manages tradeoffs.
- Coordinates with leaders of all disciplines to ensure the right skills are aligned to the work that has been prioritized.
- Align office hours to meet the demands of both the offshore delivery team and onshore stakeholders.
