Job Overview
U.S. Cannabis Labs is seeking a dynamic and driven Cannabis Lab Sales Representative to join our team. This individual will be responsible for bringing in new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients across the cannabis industry. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cannabis testing services, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive growth for our lab’s service offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive new business and expand the lab’s customer base.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the cannabis industry, including cultivators, processors, dispensaries, and other cannabis businesses.
- Identify and target potential clients who require cannabis testing services, including potency, pesticides, heavy metals, mycotoxins, microbiology, and more.
- Educate prospective clients on U.S. Cannabis Labs' testing services and our commitment to quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients, highlighting the lab’s services and value propositions.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure the seamless onboarding of new clients and address their testing needs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to increase the visibility of the lab’s services through various channels, including trade shows, online platforms, and industry events.
- Monitor and report on sales activities, including lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Stay up to date on cannabis industry regulations, testing standards, and emerging trends to effectively communicate with clients.
Qualifications:
- Sales experience, preferably in the cannabis industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the cannabis industry, including testing requirements and regulatory standards.
- Proven track record of sales success, with experience generating leads and closing deals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build relationships and network within the cannabis industry.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a cannabis testing lab or with laboratory services.
- Familiarity with cannabis testing equipment and methodologies.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 standards and lab accreditation processes.
