Position Overview:
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Member Relations Department seeks an entrepreneurial, customer-service focused individual to join our team and support the development, engagement, and retention of our corporate members, working collaboratively with colleagues across new business, member engagement, and research. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, and driven by a desire to deliver member value.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and coordinate external meetings, compile briefing materials, and draft and manage follow-up.
Track member engagements and touchpoints in Salesforce and use the CRM to generate reports, identify trends, and drive positive business outcomes.
Deliver and track invoices for membership dues, ultimately ensuring that the payments arrive by due dates set by internal leadership.
Develop guest lists, send invitations and provide on-site support for member events.
Be a generous team contributor.
Perform other projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of relevant membership, fundraising, or sales support experience.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with senior leaders with confidence and grace.
A strong client service ethic.
Meticulous attention to detail and superior organization.
Ability to manage complex and fast-changing portfolios of work and prioritize effectively in response.
Comfort with ambiguity.
An interest in policy and politics with a solid understanding of the Chamber’s work and value.
An entrepreneurial spirit and a track record showing initiative and ownership of work.
Experience using a CRM, such as Salesforce.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, notably Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
The salary range for this position is $50,336.00 - $60,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
