Position Overview:
The U.S. Chamber’s Middle East, Central Asia, and Türkiye Department is part of the Chamber’s International Affairs Division. The team is seeking a dedicated, hands-on professional to support the programmatic and policy work of three key programs within this department: the U.S.-Egypt Business Council, the U.S.-Iraq Business Council, and the U.S.-Saudi Arabia Business Program. The manager will play a key role in planning and executing strategic engagements designed to enhance U.S. business relations with Egypt, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
- Track U.S.-Egypt, U.S.-Iraq, and U.S.-Saudi Arabia trade, investment, and commercial policy developments.
- Contribute content for updates, newsletters, and the website.
- Manage logistics, member outreach, and the agenda for meetings and events between member companies and key stakeholders.
- Craft positions and advance policy advocacy by preparing meeting briefings, testimony, speeches, position papers, and other materials for government officials, corporate members, policy committees, media outlets, and the general public.
- Assist with trade missions, program development, speaker recruitment, communications, and research.
- Respond to business advisory inquiries.
- Provide support for financial management, budgeting, and creating and collecting invoices.
- Help with efforts to expand membership.
- Conduct special projects that reinforce the work of the Middle East, Central Asia, and Türkiye Department.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years in international affairs, government relations, or a related field.
- Familiarity with creating and supporting marketing materials, including newsletters, invitations, sponsorship proposals, and post-event recaps, with a strong eye for detail and design.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- An eagerness to work collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at managing complex and evolving program and policy elements.
- An interest in policy and politics with a solid understanding of the Chamber’s work and values.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, such as Salesforce, Stensul, and Microsoft Office.
The salary range for this position is $66,998.00 - $78,000.00. The actual salary paid for this position will vary based on market data, an applicant’s qualifications, relevant degrees, certifications, and other factors. Our full-time employees are eligible for benefits, including health care, vision, dental, retirement, and paid leave.
