Position Overview
The Financial Analyst will play a key role in driving financial visibility and strategic decision-making through robust analysis, forecasting, and planning. Reporting to the CFO, this individual will work across departments to support company growth and performance. This position offers flexibility to work remotely, while also having access to our corporate office in Minnesota.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CFO to prepare and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
- Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting with detailed variance analysis and actionable insights and recommendations
- Support the General Accounting team in month end and year end activities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, performance measurement, and operational decision-making
- Track and analyze key business metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for optimization
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, sales, and other departments to align financial goals with business strategy
- Support acquisition and integration efforts with modeling, due diligence, and financial reporting
- Contribute to the development of scalable financial systems, tools, and processes
- Mentor and potentially lead a small team or finance staff as we grow
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
- 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related finance roles (PE-backed, professional services, or growth-oriented environment a plus)
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting principles and experience in month end and year end accounting close processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including high-level Excel skills, Dynamics and financial systems including QuickBooks and Prophix
- Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate financial information effectively to cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated leadership experience or interest in team development
- Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
