Job Description

The affirmative caseload of the Civil Division includes fraud cases brought under the False Claims Act and other statutes, federal regulatory enforcement actions, and civil forfeiture cases. The defensive caseload of the Civil Division includes tort litigation, employment litigation, immigration litigation, bankruptcy, and the defense of civil rights lawsuits filed against federal officers and employees for alleged constitutional violations.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
