This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Deputy AC Security Services, Asset Protection Division, Cyber Security Branch. As an IT Specialist (INFOSEC)(Cyber Security Officer), you will be responsible for Bureau-Wide asset protection, including Fiscal Agents and Franchise customers.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized experience :
For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes developing, testing, implementing, securing, and hosting IT resources. Such experience must include ALL of the following :
- Experience identifying IT systems and security problems to identify weaknesses, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions; AND
- Experience administering computer system networks, and designing and evaluating operations in IT Security environments; AND
- Experience generating reports of IT threats and vulnerabilities and managing systems that provide these reports; AND
- Experience with networking concepts, configuring security tools, executing scans, evaluating scan results and providing assistance with remediation.
