SECTION 1: Job Summary (Summary of the basic functions of the position)
The Aesthetic Department Coordinator plans, organizes and directs aspects of the aesthetic services,
including scheduling, inventory management and cosmetic events.
SECTION 2: Duties and Responsibilities (Responsibilities necessary to accomplish job functions)
- Manages aesthetic services in accordance with company policies and procedures and regulatory standards.
- Implements policy as needed to accommodate changing activities within the aesthetic department.
- Assures that patient care needs are appropriately met and resolves patient care crisis problems, with direction from Practice Administrator.
- Coordinates and monitors work schedules, hours and duty assignments, and patient schedules for review by Practice Administrator.
- Plans and schedules appropriate in-service programs for aesthetic personnel.
- Assists in determining needs of supplies and equipment.
- Is thoroughly familiar with the operation of all equipment used.
- Adheres to all safety policies and procedures in performing job duties and responsibilities while supporting a culture of high quality and great customer service.
- Performs other duties that may be necessary or in the best interest of the organization.
Qualifications
SECTION 3: Experience Requirements
- 2 years preferred in aesthetic service line
SECTION 4: Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable
- Management and organizational skills to support the leadership of this function
- Ability to follow or provide verbal & written instructions with sufficient grammar and spelling skills to avoid mistakes or misinterpretations
- Interpersonal skills to support customer service, functional, and team mate support needs
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Mathematical and/or analytical ability for basic to intermediate problem solving
- Basic to intermediate computer operation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Specialty knowledge of systems relating to job function
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for this position; general understanding of HIPAA guidelines
