We are hiring for a full-time position and are looking for candidates that can work a flexible/variable schedule Monday through Saturday.
- Starting base pay $23.97 with a potential for a higher starting wage based on experience.
- This position supports our Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Farmington branch locations. A floating differential is paid in addition to base pay for travel.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Personally greet each member as they enter the branch with an appropriate "Good Morning or Afternoon" and thanking them for coming in as they exit the branch, referring to them by name as often as possible. Must ask members to remove hats and sunglasses as they enter the building.
- Make appropriate follow-up calls to members to ensure member satisfaction. Offer additional products and services that meet their needs.
- Answer and resolve member inquiries and conduct research on member accounts as required or requested. Serve as a backup to the Member Representative.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of and comply with all department and security policies, procedures and federal regulations, including BSA requirements.
- Encourage and educate members to use self-service conveniences including but not limited to Mobile Banking, Mobile Remote Capture, ATMs and on-line banking to enhance their service experience.
- Process routine and complex transactions in accordance with established credit union procedures and performance standards. Open new share accounts, interview members requesting consumer loans and credit cards. Explain loan procedures, obtain necessary documentation, complete applications and route to the underwriting team.
- Establish new credit union relationships by utilizing a needs-based approach to provide products and services appropriate for the member's financial needs. Provide guidance to assist members to reach their long-term financial goals.
- Demonstrate a high-level of courtesy and efficiency while continuously exceeding service expectations. Achieve all team and individual sales and service goals.
- Possess a high-level understanding of NADA reports, loan-to-value, GAP coverage, Mechanical Breakdown coverage, Credit Life and Disability coverage and simple interest calculations.
- Understand and explain NCUA share insurance, basic regulatory rules and compliance issues to members. Open and have knowledge of Fiduciary accounts and fraud/forgery procedures. Redeem U.S. Savings Bonds. Provide Notary services and assist members with all IRA requests.
- Provide informed, friendly, professional, personal and accurate service and support to all members and associates. Resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
- One year to three years of financial institution experience required.
- Consumer lending experience preferred.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Other Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Windows environment and Microsoft productivity software.
- Excellent member service and sales skills
- Knowledgeable of financial service products and lending policies and procedures.
- Possess working knowledge and understanding of cross-selling techniques.
- The ability to accurately evaluate credit bureau reports and notate cross-sell opportunities.
- Must be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be Bondable.
- The ability to meet established sales and service goals as required.
- Be available to work various hours and locations as needed.
