Visionary Electrical Solutions, Inc. (VES), a division of U.S. Electrical Services, Inc., is a newly formed company focused on the prefabrication of electrical systems for the commercial construction market. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated project engineer to assist with the planning, scheduling, designing, managing and resourcing of technical activities to ensure project quality and accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing project inspection criteria to make sure all the elements of a project are appropriately implemented. The position will be located in the Mesa, AZ area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring all assigned projects
- Communicating effectively during daily interactions with clients to interpret their requirements and needs
- Maintaining quality control in every area, including team dynamics, personnel performance, planning, scheduling and budget
- Submitting reports on project status
- Monitoring compliance in all aspects of the project
- Communicating effectively with the project manager and other team members to provide assistance and technical support
- Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiating appropriate corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a field electrician working in the role as a project foreperson on large commercial projects, e.g., hotels, apartment buildings, healthcare facilities, etc.
- Working knowledge and familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
- Ability to read and understand project construction documents including other disciplines (trades) that affect electrical installations, e.g., architectural, mechanical and structural drawings.
- Organization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent computer skills including the ability to use specialized software for collaboration and time management, including spreadsheets
- Strong communication skills
