TEST AND BALANCE/CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN
The Test and Balance/ Cleanroom Technician will perform preventative maintenance, in addition to certified testing, correcting, and balancing specialized heating, and cooling of ventilation systems of large local commercial areas.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring future sponsorship for employment visa status.

TEST AND BALANCE/CLEANROOM TECHNICIAN
The Test and Balance/ Cleanroom Technician will perform preventative maintenance, in addition to certified testing, correcting, and balancing specialized heating, and cooling of ventilation systems of large local commercial areas.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements
- Perform certifications for fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets
- Measure and document both viable and non-viable particulates
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot various air handling systems, exhaust systems, ductwork, and fluid flow equipment associated with commercial and industrial HVAC applications.
- Respond to emergency maintenance and service requests
- Review and analyze data for reporting
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Other tasks and duties as they arise
- Interest and ability to join local union
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of previous Test and Balance/ Cleanroom experience is required
- Ability to understand HVAC systems and HVAC control systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Visio
- Working knowledge of fume hoods and bio-safety cabinets
- Keen attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced work environment with frequent interruptions
- Team mindset – flexible to help where the team will benefit most and develop effective professional relationships
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency as required
- The hourly range for this position has been established at $26.00to $60.00per hour and is US Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, specialty, and training
