Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000

GENERAL PURPOSE
The Client Service Associate is an entry-level role designed to provide foundational experience in client service within the Qualified Retirement Plan department. This position supports the Client Service Team in various activities while gaining the knowledge and skills necessary for career growth. As the individual develops expertise in company policies, procedures, and client service strategies, they will progress toward taking on greater responsibilities, with the opportunity to advance into a Client Service Officer role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in Client Service Activities
- Participate in key client interactions, including onboarding, due diligence, board meetings, and valuation discussions.
- Learn to use Salesforce for tracking and reporting key client information and activities.
- Utilize Salesforce Tasking to enhance transparency in client and trust accounting processes.

2. Develop Fiduciary Knowledge and Expertise
- Attend fiduciary committee meetings to gain industry knowledge and apply learnings.
- Participate in relevant conferences and seminars as assigned.
3. Build Client Relationship Skills
- Work closely with Client Service Officers to understand client needs and service expectations.
- Develop confidence in leading client discussions and gradually take on more responsibility in client meetings.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
- Some client-facing experience preferred, such as internships, customer service, or administrative support roles.
SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to grasp basic business and financial concepts.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to learn and develop proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed.
