We assist homeowners with fire safety assessments, fire dangers, fire escape plans and general fire safety information, along with providing state of the art fire safety equipment from early detection smoke, heat, CO, flood and freeze sensors, fire extinguishers, fire ladders and fire blankets. Duties
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of facilities and construction sites to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry standards.
- Provide training sessions for employees on fire alarm systems, construction safety, and emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to assist in the design of fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler fitting projects.
- Evaluate existing fire alarm systems and recommend upgrades or improvements as necessary.
- Assist in the sales process for alarm systems by providing technical expertise and guidance to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to workplace safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in fire alarm systems or construction inspection are highly desirable.
- Experience in system design for fire alarms or sprinkler fitting is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train others effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to assess risks and develop solutions.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $550.00 - $1,000.00 per week
