SUMMARY:
Rep. Jill Tokuda is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join her
district staff in her Honolulu Office. This position works with constituents who request
assistance and acts as a liaison to federal, state, and local agencies. The ideal
candidate would have strong customer service skills and the ability to write quickly and
effectively. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is
required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Works with constituents who request assistance and maintains up-to-date files
on all cases.
- Manages casework through a constituent management system and handles
cases in a timely and responsible manner, which includes working with federal,
state, and local agencies.
- Answers phones, checks voicemail, and responds to calls or refers calls to
appropriate staff. Greets and assists visitors.
- Reviews, processes, and distributes mail.
- Prepares written responses to constituent inquiries and congratulatory
messages.
Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including occasional nights and

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
