The Caseworker plays an important role by serving as aliaison to the federal government on behalf of the Member's constituents. TheCaseworker will handle a portfolio of issue areas on behalf of the Member. TheCaseworker will also work closely with the District Director, ConstituentService Representatives, and Field Representatives to provide outstandingservice to the Member's constituents.
Sample Job Duties :
- Serves as a liaison with federal government entities for individual constituent concerns
- Maintains constituent casework in assigned areas of expertise
- Monitors and updates the Member and District Director on casework trends
- Prepares and manages incoming and outgoing correspondence in assigned areas of expertise
- Maintains accurate and complete files on all assigned casework matters
- Monitors, screens, and refers cases, when appropriate, to other government entities
