Position Description
-Act as a liaison between the Congresswoman and constituents, local officials, community leaders, and organizations in the district.
-Attend meetings, events, and other gatherings on behalf of the Congresswoman to maintain and build relationships with stakeholders.
-Conduct research and analysis on policy issues affecting the district and provide updates to the Congresswoman.
-Staff the Congresswoman at various events, meetings, or gatherings she attends.
- -Answer the office phones, respond to correspondence, and written correspondence with constituents.

Compensation
The compensation is $50k per year, commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance; federal student loan repayment (terms apply); retirement plans; and paid time off.

A qualified applicant must meet one of the following residency requirements within the continental United States for eligibility for a paid position with the U.S. House of Representatives:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Be lawfully admitted for permanent residence and seeking citizenship as outlined in 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)(B)
- Be (i) admitted as a refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157 or granted asylum under 8 U.S.C. § 1158 and (ii) have filed a declaration of intention to become a lawful permanent resident and then a citizen when eligible
- Owe allegiance to the U.S. (i.e., qualify as a non-citizen U.S. national under federal law)
