Business Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Business Developer to drive sales, marketing, and client relations for our commercial landscaping services. This role involves prospecting new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and conducting site audits to ensure quality control. The ideal candidate is results-driven, enjoys building relationships, and has a keen eye for detail when evaluating landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Marketing:
• Proactively research, target, and engage potential clients to expand the company's commercial landscaping portfolio.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to generate leads.
• Build relationships with property managers, business owners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct sales presentations and follow up with potential clients.
• Maintain records of leads, prospects, and client interactions.
• Site Audits & Quality Control:
• Visit current client properties to assess landscape maintenance quality.
• Ensure company standards are met and report any necessary improvements.
• Communicate findings with the operations team to enhance service quality.
• Driving & Client Visits:
• Travel to sales meetings and site audits in a company-provided vehicle.
• Manage a schedule of sales calls, site visits, and follow-ups efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development, or landscaping is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping or willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
