As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading hybrid cloud strategy, system modernization, and IT optimization. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Azure, VMware, and Windows Server to enhance scalability, security, and performance across our infrastructure.
📍 Location: Houston, Texas (Greenspoint) - Hybrid; Remote possibility
🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday (flexibility required for system maintenance and upgrades)
What You’ll Do:
Hybrid Cloud Strategy & Systems Engineering
Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions using Azure and VMware
Oversee Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and M365 E3 integration
Develop and maintain scalable, high-availability IT infrastructure
Optimize storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions
Security & Compliance
Ensure cloud and on-premises security align with industry standards
Monitor and enforce compliance policies and best practices
Implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
Serve as a technical authority for IT teams and stakeholders
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT with business goals
What You Bring to the Table:
✔ 10 years of experience in systems engineering & IT infrastructure
✔ Expertise in Azure, VMware, Windows Server, SAN storage, and backup solutions
✔ Strong understanding of hybrid cloud security, compliance, and disaster recovery
✔ Certifications in Azure, VMware, or Cisco (preferred)
✔ Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
