Key Responsibilities
- Design or review designs of electrical systems or features of projects, including drawings, design analysis, technical provisions of specification, and cost estimates.
- Apply government and industry standards and establish and enforce technical and operational standards that will optimize efficiencies in demand for the use of electrical energy facilities.
- Perform technical reviews of electrical, communication, and control systems design to ensure compliance with energy efficiency objectives and electrical codes and standards.
- Assist in the development, interpretation, and application of electrical energy efficiency standards and applications.
- Plan, program, design, and manage expansion and improvements to energy management and control system (EMCS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) hardware, software, and infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- At least one year of experience in electrical engineering, power generation, or related field.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with government and industry standards and regulations related to electrical engineering.
