About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the U.S. Marine Corps as an Electrical Engineer. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill this key role.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design electrical systems and features of projects, including drawings, design analysis, technical provisions of specification, and cost estimates
- Apply government and industry standards and establish and enforce technical and operational standards
- Perform technical reviews of electrical, communication, and control systems design
- Develop, interpret and apply electrical energy efficiency standards and applications
- Manage expansion and improvements to energy management and control system (EMCS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) hardware, software, and infrastructure
What You Will Need:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited school of engineering with at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)
- Professional registration or licensure as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico
- At least 1 year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
