The Event Assistant at the Whitewater Center (Whitewater) is a key member in helping manage the day-of operation of Whitewater Race Series events & festivals and is responsible for overseeing participant registration, executing race logistics / production, and reporting on key performance indicators of each event. In addition, the position will also assist with various operational tasks that are essential to successfully executing competitive events. The Weekend Event Assistant is an on-site, part-time, hourly role and reports to the Race Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the race registration process for all Whitewater Race Series productions.
- Aid with packet pick-up, race start / finish actions, aid stations set up and removal, and awards presentations at all events.
- Other duties as assigned.
