Advises the WFLC regarding training, Work and Family Life (WFL) program delivery, and resource management for WFL to include, disaster response/emergency family assistance (EFA), education services/life skills education programs within AOR.
Serves as the train-the-trainer for installation WFL programs and services: including but not limited to, PFM, TAP, RAP, Deployment Support, Ombudsman, FERP and EFA when installation supervisory/training staff are unable to do so; may assist local installation staff when operational needs require.
Prepares briefings, reports, data analysis and capture lessons learned and best practices; identifies policy/procedural issues within area of responsibility to make policy/procedural recommendations to increase response/efficiency/effectiveness.
Makes improvements, solves problems, and takes corrective action when problems arise.
Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) on issues related to supporting Sailors and their families before, during, and after mobilizations, deployments, separations, evacuations, and repatriations. Implements or maintains ongoing quality assurance.
